Tierra del Sol Elementary Honors Heroes with Emotional Veterans Day Program

Tierra del Sol Elementary School hosted a moving and patriotic Veterans Day Program on Friday, November 7, 2025, to express its sincere appreciation for all who served. The event, which began at 8:30 AM in the TDS Cafeteria, was a powerful display of community respect. The emotional highlight of the morning was a dedicated Parade of Heroes, where the attending veterans walked down the school halls to applause and cheers from hundreds of students and teachers lining the hallhallways.

In addition to a special address from a guest speaker, a key component of the program was a solemn and educational presentation on flag etiquette, delivered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Tigua Post 8782, who demonstrated the proper folding of the American flag.

This annual program successfully honored all veterans and taught students the profound significance of service and sacrifice.
