January 28th, VEX IQ elementary and middle school robotics teams showcased their engineering designs and skills at a regional competition held at La Nube STEAM Discovery Center.

Our Sundancers competed against a talented field of peers, and our students demonstrated remarkable technical skill and strategic thinking. Our team’s efforts were officially recognized when they were presented with the Judges’ Award, a high honor given to the team that displays exemplary sportsmanship, a unique design approach, and a deep understanding of the engineering process.

Following the thrill of the competition, the celebration continued as the students were invited to go behind the scenes and explore the cutting-edge exhibits within the museum. From interactive physics displays to immersive technology labs, the team had the chance to see their classroom concepts come to life in a world-class setting. It was a day of high-stakes learning and well-deserved play, proving that the future of STEM is bright—and it’s starting right here in our local schools.

Thank you, La Nube, for supporting our VEX IQ robotics programs.
