This week, the hallways of Tierra were buzzing with more than just the usual school spirit—they were alive with the magic of storytelling! Our students, staff, and community came together to celebrate Read Across America Week, transforming our school into a vibrant hub of literacy, imagination, and lifelong learning.
The week-long celebration was designed not just to encourage reading, but to make it an unforgettable adventure for our elementary scholars.

Epic Spirit Days: From wearing rock T-shirts for "Rocking with a Good Book" day to dressing as Dr. Seuss literary characters, our students brought their favorite stories to life.
Community Guest Readers: A huge thank you to our community, who volunteered their time to read aloud to our classrooms, proving that reading truly connects us all.
While Read Across America Week may be wrapping up, the love for reading at Tierra is a year-round commitment. We encourage all our families to keep the momentum going at home by setting aside just 20 minutes a night to read together.
